The We Remember Submariners 2026 Year Pin.

2026 celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Submarine Service and the 2026 pin commemotaes this anniversary accordinly.

There was one submarine loss in 1926, HMS H29, sank in error when hatches were left open during trials in Devonport Dockyard. One crew memeber and 5 civilians perished in the accident.

WRS were informed of 162 submariners "Crossing The Bar" in 2025 and they are all remembered by the number 162 on the pin of which 8 of these qualify for a Gold Poppy minted onto the pin..

The single fouled anchor is in memory of the "unknown submariner" and has been added this year for the first time in memory of all those submariners who have Crossed the Bar but WRS have received no notification of their demise.
